Each quarter in Service Learning is a unique experience since the projects that we participate in are different; the students have different perspectives that they bring something exciting and fresh to each organization.
Nebraska Humane Society
Students enjoy a trip to the humane society where they learn that even the abused and homeless animals have a place to go.
This shelter houses over 600 animals on any given day - they take in the smallest of animals like turtles and reptiles to as large as horses.
